Automatic: adjusts the count after the city is ready.

Automatic mode adds vehicles while measuring performance at SIM SPEED 1, up to 50 on Compact maps or 100 otherwise. Adjustment continues while settings are open, subject to the same FPS limits. Moving the manual slider turns automatic mode off; applying the count resets vehicle positions. Automatic mode starts on each visit and is not saved.

Scales positive acceleration from 0.5× to 10× in 0.1 steps; use arrow keys for fine adjustment. Braking, signal timing and permission to proceed stay unchanged. Safety controls can limit actual acceleration. Applies without resetting vehicles and is independent of SIM SPEED.

Scales the full cycle from 1× to 3× by adjusting green and red; yellow stays at 2 simulation seconds. Changes take effect at each junction’s next cycle. Saved between visits.

Changes zoom for the current camera. ORBIT and CHASE / OFFSET CHASE keep separate zoom values during the session (ORBIT 0.25–50×; CHASE 0.25–20×). Use the mouse wheel or a two-finger pinch. Pan ORBIT with a right-button drag or a two-finger drag.

Rotate ORBIT with a left-button or one-finger drag. With AUTO ROTATE on, dragging changes elevation only. TOP DOWN restores the overhead angle and framing while keeping zoom and AUTO ROTATE. CHASE / OFFSET CHASE use fixed angles.

Automatic Season Cycle

Every 1 day

0 turns automatic cycling off; 1–5 selects the number of scene days. After that interval, colors start blending at the next nightfall (20:00). One full day/night cycle counts as a day. Pausing or fixing the time also pauses the count. Changing the season or interval restarts it. The interval is saved.

Open Allowed Colors for each model to choose from 10 colors; keep at least one enabled. Ordinary vehicles share the enabled colors evenly. The slider controls whiteness: 0% keeps the base colors, 100% makes them white. White stays pure white and OUTLAW stays black.

Choose a map family and seed. The same pair reproduces the same layout under the current generator. Randomize uses a new seed within the selected family. Roads use the standard gray.

These options use a legacy generator. They apply only to Generate Legacy Map and do not affect Generate Map or Randomize.

Split West cannot be combined with connector layouts C or H. These four legacy options are kept only during this visit and are not restored on reload.

Generate Legacy Map

The outer loop appears first while the city and connectors build in the background. Connections open when safe. The normal map family and seed are saved after successful generation. Replay links also work when storage is unavailable.

If generation fails, the current roads and traffic remain. You can resume connections after cancelling.

Indicators flash for junction turns and lane changes, not for bends or road widening.

Model / personality. Select a vehicle to turn FOLLOW CAR on and follow it. SIM SPEED stays unchanged.

Force Orthographic Projection

With a diagonal view, removes perspective size changes. Turn off to restore normal projection. Resets off on reload or Reset All Settings.

Color Drivers by Personality

You can change cameras and select vehicles outside this panel while settings are open. Use the wheel or a two-finger pinch to zoom, right-button or two-finger drag to pan, and left-button or one-finger drag to rotate. Outside settings controls, Space pauses, ↑↓ adjusts SIM SPEED and H toggles the HUD.

Choose an overhead, diagonal or side view; FOLLOW CAR tracks the selected vehicle. AUTO ROTATE works while following. While enabled, dragging changes elevation only. Follow, rotation and manual angles are not saved. Reload restores the preset angle. Recenter restores the center and default angle, disables follow and rotation, and keeps zoom.

Vehicles keep their assigned personalities and colors. RULE BREAKER drivers may enter on red but still respect junction occupancy, approaching traffic, exit space and following distance. Diagnostics can show personality colors. Indicators flash for junction turns and actual lane changes.
